United Thank Offering Grant and Great EpisGOpal Race Information
2024 United Thank Offering Grants
The deadline for 2024 is 5pm (ET) on Friday, December 1, 2023 for Anglican Communion and those applying in a language other than English, and 5pm (ET) on Friday, January 19, 2024 for dioceses of The Episcopal Church.
Application materials are now available. Over the next 3 years, The United Thank Offering, in the spirit of Matthew 25:36, will focus on areas of ministry that serve those who society has left out and left behind. The UTO grant focus for 2024 will be on “the stranger” Jesus mentions, offering welcome and inclusivity.
Changes to the support UTO is offering for the 2024 grant process have also been put in place:
- Grant application explainer videos are available.
- Open office hours are available monthly. See the "helpful hints" link on the application page.
- The UTO staff officer is available to answer questions and provide a review of your application within these deadlines! The last day you can receive a full review of your application is January 9. January 12 is the last day for a budget review, and Jan. 17 is the last day your application will be reviewed for completeness.
The Great EpisGOpal Race
Race your way in the 4th annual Great EpisGOpal Race virtual race to support the 2023 UTO Ingathering and Episcopal Migration Ministries. Anytime between November 20-28, choose your preferred mode and distance and race to raise money for EMM’s programs. 100% of registration fees and fundraising will go to UTO to serve as a grant to EMM.
