Come and join with folks in our Province who are engaged in Campus Ministry for an overnight retreat and workshop at the Claggett Center, include address with link to map, taking place January 3-4, 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, recharge, and share ministry work in the crucial and often neglected area of Campus Ministry. We will gather in the afternoon of Friday January 3 for food, fellowship, and worship, and then on Saturday January 4, we will have the opportunity to participate in two workshops led by Fr. Allen.

Allen has been a leader and innovator in campus ministry for decades. For over 20 years he served in campus ministry in the Evangelical world. He was also a pastor for several years at a non-denominational church that served students at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. In addition to his ministry at Princeton, Allen serves the Church as Province 2 YACM Coordinator. In his free time, Allen likes to go out on his kayak to go bass fishing. We will all benefit from his wisdom, insight, and collaborative spirit.

Session 1: Campus Assessment

Rather than coming to a campus to impose a campus ministry, our call is to lead a contextualized campus ministry that fits our particular campus. What can you do to assess and understand your campus?

Session 2: Building Blocks of Campus Ministry

What are we seeking to build on campus with our campus ministry? This session will propose some building blocks for building a healthy, vibrant, and lasting campus ministry.

This event is generously supported by Province III of the Episcopal Church. Total cost to attend is $45, which includes meals and accommodations at the Claggett Center.
