Historical Society of the Episcopal Church seeks Treasurer

The Executive Committee of the HSEC seeks candidates for Treasurer. This is a volunteer position that assists with overseeing Society finances in conjunction with the Director of Operations, who takes care of day-to-day bookkeeping. Though volunteer, all expenses incurred with work are covered by the society. The annual time required includes a board meeting (3 days), Executive Committee teleconferences (16 hours), monthly review of finances (24 hours), annual budget development (8 hours), review of required reporting - Form 990 (8 hours), and other financial matters that may arise or need consideration (12 hours).

The ideal candidate would be a member of HSEC who is familiar with not-for-profit accounting and processes.
