St. Andrew's, an Episcopal boarding school, in the Diocese of Delaware is featured in an article in The Atlantic for its unique and successful approach to cell phone use by students: they are not allowed in public or in their rooms at night. The article notes that “a funny side effect...is when we write to families about moving into the school, we emphasize in all caps ‘YOU HAVE TO BUY AN ALARM CLOCK.’ Because they can’t have their phones in their rooms overnight.” Read the full article here.
